Constuction will begin on the North side of Plumbrook Road between 17 Mile Road and Dodge Park Road. Starting Tuesday, May 20 (weather permitting), road construction will transition from Phase 1b to Phase 2a. Plumbrook Road between Van Dyke and 17 Mile Road and Schoenherr Road to Hayes Road will be reopening to two way traffic today June 19th. Plan renderings are available for the project Plumbrook Road (West Half) Van Dyke Avenue to the ITC corridor and Plumbrook Road (East Half) ITC corridor to Utica road showing the proposed improvements. This project will include a newly paved asphalt roadway, public utility improvement, installation of bike lanes from 17 Mile Road to Utica Road, completion of sidewalk gaps for better pedestrian connectivity, and other aesthetic improvements. The City of Sterling Heights will be reconstructing Plumbrook Road between Van Dyke Avenue and Utica Road in the Spring of 2023. Plumbrook Road Improvements: Van Dyke to Utica Road People can access their homes and Van Dyke west bound only. Please note, east bound Riverland will be completely shut down from the park entrance to Clinton River Road.
